Art Classes

During the August school break, the girls had an opportunity to participate in a 2-day art session. They were guided by a young lady by the name of Nicole Mgomela. This is the second time Nicole has visited the home to teach the girls artwork.  From the pictures, it is evident that our girls are not only gifted academically but have artistic talent that we hope to nurture. We hope that spending time doing art will boost their confidence, help them develop crucial life skills and foster their creative thinking. It also serves as a way of healing, and reduces stress and promotes relaxation. All the canvas pictures are hung in the Shalom Community Centre.
