Charitable Children's Institutes

We were glad to have hosted 25 members from Kajiado County Charitable Children’s Institutes (CCI) at PCH Shalom Community Centre. In Kenya, Providence Children’s Home is considered one of these institutes. CPIMS is a digital platform designed to manage and analyze data related to child protection cases. This helps children’s institutions to document, track and report on child protection issues, measure progress in child rights, and allocate resources effectively. This also helps the Director of Children Services in Kenya as well as the County office to track the progress of the child, family tracing and improve on data collection which enhances the accountability. By hosting the team at PCH, we were able to foster good working relationships with these government agencies, build our network, and learn best practices from other homes. Participants praised the facilities at the home and offered positive comments on the cleanliness, good infrastructure, and good behavior of the girls.
