Academics

This year we have a number of girls who will be taking their third term exams between October and November. The first group will be our Grade 3 students - Joyce Kavindu, Caroline Munini and Glory Kanana who will be participating in the Kenya Early Years Assessment (KEYA). In Grade 6, we have Joyce Kanini, Mitchelle Wanjiru, and Rahab Wanjjiru who will be taking the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) before they can move to Junior High School in 2026. Additionally, we have four girls who will be completing High School. Alicia Akinyi, Beatrice Nyakio, Hellen Thigia and Bridgit Mbone will be taking the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam. Successfully completing this exam will open university and college opportunities for them. We ask for your prayers for this group as they are at a major turning point in their lives. Last year’s graduates, Miriam Njeri and Anzazi Mreje are excited to start college this fall. Miriam Njeri would like to begin courses in tourism and hospitality. Four of our girls currently in college,  Irene Wahito, Vivian Betty, Sheila Moraa and Sharleen Otoro are currently doing internships, which are a requirement in their courses,  in order to graduate.
