College and University

Anzazi Mreje and Miriam Njeri are set to head off to college this September. Anzazi, picture below on admission day, will be joining African International University (AIU) to study for a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Financial Management. This has been her dream and we are overjoyed to see her achieve it. We are also happy that Anzazi was granted a scholarship for 50% of the tuition fees. During a pre-admission visit to the university, it was obvious that Anzazi was already looking forward to this new season of life. Miriam Njeri desires to take a course in tourism and hospitality and she is currently awaiting her college placement. We are proud to have a total of five girls go to University since the inception of PCH. The first among the five, Esther Kerubo, graduated in mid 2023 and is now employed. We cannot underestimate how the prayers and financial support from the different people and  congregations in the US have enabled these girls achieve their dreams.

Irene Wahito is currently completing an internship at the Radisson Hotel at Wetlands, here in Nairobi. She has been there for 3 months and due to her diligence and professionalism, they decided to extend the duration to 6 months. We are grateful  for the positive comments from her supervisor. Sheila, as well, is completing an internship at Kinoo Secondary School as an assistant lab technician.
