School, School, School

This year we have a number of girls who will be taking their national exams between October and November. The first group is our 3rd Grade students - Joyce Kavindu, Caroline Munini and Glory Kanana.  They will be participating in the Kenya Early Years Assessment (KEYA). Then in 6th Grade, we have Joyce Kanini, Mitchell Wanjiru, and Rahab Wanjiru who will be taking the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA).

We also have 4 girls completing high school at the end of this year - Alicia Akinyi, Beatrice Nyakio, Hellen Thigia and Bridgit Mbone. They are scheduled to take their final exams in November and we wish them well as they are finishing up their 4 year journey in high school. Successful completion of this exam and good grades will open the door to university and college for them. We ask for your prayers for this group  of girls as we do our best to help them prepare for these exams. We pray for their peace of mind, reduced anxiety and for good results.

Most of our PCH girls are studying at Joram GM Academy have earned impressive academic grades this year. Mercy Nekesa, in 7th grade, took first place in her class for grades while Abigael Naipasoi (2nd grade), Susan Wairimu (9th grade), Faith Cheptoo (7th grade) and Faith Nosim (4th grade) all placed in the top 3 in their classes for grades. We are so proud of these girls and all their hard work in school. The school also recognized our special needs girl, Blessing Waceke (10th Grade) for her improvement in handwriting. Above are pictures of some of the girls being recognized by the school directors
