Message from of PCH Manager, Jane Mahui
Greetings from the PCH Family in Matasia!! - 2025 has been good to us so far and we have no doubt it will continue to be. We are grateful to God for sustaining us with his grace, mercy, favor and blessings of good health for the girls and staff. As many of you know, bringing up children is not an easy task as each one has a different personality and, in the case of our girls at PCH, come to us at different levels of trauma and hurt which need to be resolved. With our new Psychologist, Maria on board, we trust that God will use her to effectively support the team of caregivers in bringing our girls up, showing love, helping them heal, and grow mentally and spiritually to be valuable members of the community.
Kenya has been experiencing some hard economic times but at PCH we have not lacked school fees, food, medical care and have been able to run the home smoothly – something that we do not take for granted. All of this is possible, courtesy of the donors and friends of PCH, and their support. Through the prayers, sacrifice and financial support of our donors and friends, PCH has been able to support girls who would have otherwise not had a chance to have an education, live in a homey environment and experience love, for the last 21 years. Matthew 25:40 says, “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me”. For each one of you that has prayed for, sacrificed for and given of your resources to PCH, only God can repay you, but we say thank you.
Blessings!!
