Visitors to PCH

This spring we were blessed to have many visitors from the surrounding community. We had three different churches visit us. Each church shared time of teaching and devotion with the girls, then prayed with and gave the girls encouraging words. The churches encouraged the girls to work hard in school and to spend time in prayer and meditation each day. Each of these visits were a great time of fellowship with these church groups.

We were also blessed to have PCH Alumni Cynthia Lutome visit the girls at the end of April. Cynthia encouraged the girls, especially the older ones to maintain good relationships and connections with one another, especially after completing college and when they begin working or doing business. Cynthia runs her own business, Bercyn Bakes, and regularly supplies cakes to the home during special events including birthdays, Christmas and Easter.  She shared with the girls that business is not for the faint hearted and that although she has managed to successfully run Bercyn Bakes for a number of years, it requires discipline, hard work, consistency and prudence with finances. She encouraged them to work hard and be serious with academics in order to succeed.
